HydraFacial
What should I do before my treatment?
The HydraFacial treatment is very safe and effective, however it’s important to know we cannot perform the treatment if any of the below apply to you:
- If you have allergies to salicylates or shellfish
- If you have had facial surgery in the last 12 months
- If you have have active facial infections / eczema / dermatitis or cold sores
- If you have sunburn
- If you are undergoing chemotherapy or radiation therapy
- If you have had any dermal treatments such as laser, skin needling or cosmetic injectables in the two weeks prior.
Is there any downtime?
There is minimal downtime, some clients may experience mild flushing which calms down after a few hours. Depending on your skin and the customisation used within your HydraFacial, you may experience mild dryness.
What is the difference between hydrafacial and microdermabrasion?
HydraFacial is a multi-step process that provides cleansing and exfoliation, a gentle peel to loosen dirt and debris from pores, extraction to clean out pores, and hydration of antioxidants and hyaluronic acid to nourish and protect your skin.
Each step of the HydraFacial is customised to suit your skin type and skin concerns.
HydraFacial is an evolution of microdermabrasion, with additional customisation options to deliver so much more.
Can a HydraFacial cause breakouts?
As with any facial treatment, you may experience breakouts following your HydraFacial. These will be temporary, a result of opening up your pores to remove surface debris.
What results can I expect?
Visible skin refinement and an even, radiant skin tone after just one treatment. The smooth results and hydration may last up to 7 days, and in some instances even longer.
